The ceremony marked donations by Cadillac Fairview and Tour des Canadiens partners of $5000 each to the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation. The property developers' donations were given to mark their ongoing commitment to supporting the communities around the real estate project, including Little Burgundy.
“Cadillac Fairview is resolutely committed to Montreal’s future,” said Brian Salpeter, Senior Vice-President, Development, Eastern Canada, Cadillac Fairview. “Our redevelopment plan is aimed at transforming the area around Bell Centre and building bridges with the surrounding communities. We are pleased to support local organizations that are helping to improve the quality of life of these communities’ residents.”
This generous contribution from the Tour des Canadiens partners, added Geneviève Paquette, Executive Director of the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation, will allow the foundation to continue to support organizations like the Tyndale St-Georges Community Centre and their youth participants.
Thank you to the Foundation, Cadillac Fairview, Tour des Canadiens partners and to Youppi! for their ongoing commitment to building community and for inviting us to be part of this event.
